ALASKAN MALAMUTES NEW OWNER
MARY JANE AND AL HOLABACH have been devoted fans of the Alaskan Mala-mute since the early 1960s. Mary Jane purchased her first Malamute in 1964 as a companion and Al bought his first in 1966. The two later joined forces and have been successful in breeding Alaskan Malamutes of outstanding quality. They have bred over 70 champions of record and 6 different all-breed Best in Show winners who have collectively won a total of 40 Best in Show awards. Their dogs are also very active in sledding competition, backpacking events and weight pulling contests.
Both Mary Jane and Al are active in all-breed and specialty clubs and are members of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America. They actively participate in circulating educational material on the breed through the Alaskan Malamute Quarterly and the Alaskan Malamute Annual.
MARY FEAZELL grew up with her grandfather's kennel of Labrador gun dogs. She began training her own working dogs in 1958. With her Group-winning foundation bitch, Ch.Wyndcall'sWild Shamrock Honey, WC, Mary started her small kennel, Wyndcall, in 1974. Mary has competed with her dogs in the US, Canada, and Bermuda; was the founding president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Labrador Retriever Club; has spent 20 years in Labrador education and is a member of the Judges Education Committee for the national organization, Labrador Retriever Club, Inc.
